I can hardly believe it's already been a year since I got the keys to my new studio. Wow! Time flies huh.
Man it was a lot of work getting this place ship shape and ready for me to work out of but we did it in, what now feels like, record time. Here is the original before and after post: Studio Before/After

I still get excited every time I walk in here and see all of this beautiful natural light. After 5 years of working in near cave like light I am so thankful to have this light drenched space. 

Little things too like being able to put up a door sign and display my work on the walls. Who would have thought that all of those little things would ever feel so big. 

Today I am beyond grateful to all of the wonderful women who I have been fortunate to work with. You guys are really why I am able to have a space to work from that brings me such joy. You guys and an amazingly supportive family! Here is to many more years of being able to provide you with an unforgettable self esteem boosting experience.

I am very fortunate as a boudoir photographer to meet such an amazing variety of women. This adventurous soul came in to do a group glamour session, a boudoir party, with me. She was treating her mother to a milestone birthday present. I'll feature the group shots later but today let's focus on Miss L's solo set.

Many of my clients have a hard time choosing wardrobe. That's one of the reasons I do a style consultation and work with you to select pieces that will flatter your figure. No one should have to navigate the crazy world of lingerie alone. Ms L chose pieces that really highlight her assets. We started her session in this curve hugging wiggle dress. She also brought in some sweaters and fishnets (a favorite of mine). She showed off her beautiful back tattoo and pulled off a sexy red slip. Great choices L.

Even though this experience started as a gift to her mom I know it ended up being a gift to all 3 lovely ladies.

To say this hot mom works hard to maintain her figure is a complete understatement. She has seriously amazing abs and all of her hard work truly does show. Makes me wonder what I could accomplish if I had even a fraction of her motivation. I'm happy she came in for a session with me and that I get to share some shots from her set. This was a fun (albeit hot) day. 

We started off with a little glam and moved into her boudoir set. I love when a client brings in great wardrobe too. She paid a visit to the wonderful ladies at Fiamour in Carytown before her session. In case you aren't familiar with them they are a luxury lingerie boutique in the heart of Richmond's Carytown shopping area. Be sure to stop in and check out their selection of fine lingerie. Between the Sheets - Richmond Boudoir Summer Special

422 Studio presents you with a sizzling summer boudoir special, the Between the Sheets Sessions. This session, available in limited numbers and only in July and August is a one of a kind opportunity to bring out your sexy side. Just you and our bedroom set playing in the sheets. No complicated wardrobe, feel free to bring just the skin you're in. It's our version of classy, sexy and fun done simply. No fuss no muss just your sexy self.

Your photo session will include a complete makeup makeover. Feel free to bring false eyelashes and we'll be happy to apply them with your makeover. You'll need to arrive with your hair already styled in your favorite way, think messy, sexy, bedroom hair.

Again, these sessions are available in limited numbers throughout July and August. Book by July 4th to lock in this rate. This boudoir photo session includes: * Makeup application (false eyelashes supplied by you). * 1 "outfit" (clothing not needed for this) However, If you wish, you may bring 1 lingerie set instead of baring it all. * Approximately 30 minutes in front of the camera. * In person private viewing of the best shots of the day.  * Pre-session phone consultation to answer your questions. * My expert pose coaching. Session fee: $200 (must be paid in full to secure your session date) All products and images are sold separately from the session fee.

 

All the details: Must be 21 years of age or better, with photo ID, to do this session in your bare skin. No dates will be held without payment in full of the session fee. Payment plans are available on product orders exceeding $600. Image purchasing and screening sessions take place approximately 1 week after your photo session. Product payment is due at this appointment. VA sales tax will be applied to your session fee and product orders. Regular "Full" sessions (including multiple outfit changes and hair styling) are available to book during this time at my regular rates. I can't be held responsible for how seriously sexy you will look.

Richmond Boudoir Photography

Sometimes it's true that the sexiest thing a woman can wear is her smile. Today's session is no exception to that. She has an incredible smile. I've been fortunate enough to see it at several points over the last 5 years. Her first beauty session with me. Her engagement session, her beautiful wedding and most recently when she visited me in the new studio for an updated boudoir session. I love that I've had the chance to photograph her at so many points in her life and look forward to many more.

Boudoir quickie post

I'm popping in really quickly today to share a few shots from a recent boudoir session. I had the opportunity to work with this lovely lady quite a while back and when I moved into the new studio space in Richmond she came in to do an updated session with me and this time we did a seriously sexy boudoir session. I love, love, love when I get to work with a woman a second time. It's always a great session and this was no exception to that rule. I love this set and I'm so glad she came in again.

Her hair and makeup were done by one of the lovely stylists at Bombshell Salon.
